I got into helicopter flying quite by chance a few years ago. Like many pilots, it all started with a simple sightseeing flight as a passenger. Back on the ground, I was fascinated by the technology and flying in the helicopter, not to mention the view of our wonderful earth. I started training at the end of 2019.

I hold a valid Bazl private pilot license (PPLH - license no. 60985) for the helicopter types “Robinson R44 Raven II” and “Robinson R66 Turbine”. In addition, I have the MOU license extension which entitles me to land in the mountains. Landings in Switzerland above 1,100 m above sea level require this expansion and may only take place on the defined mountain landing sites (40 in total). I also have a radiotelephony certificate, a valid certificate of language proficiency in the English language and a valid Class II medical fitness certificate (annual medical fitness to fly check). I purchased the license in June 2021.

As of September 2023, I have just over 260 hours of practical flight experience (RTT = ROTOR TURNING TIME). I have also carried out around 2000 take-offs and landings at various airports, aerodromes and off-road (so-called external landings). Since receiving my license, I have completed over 100 flights.
